Getting to know your therapist
Hi, I'm Molly! I am a mental health professional committed to helping individuals, families, and communities reach their greatest potential. I have worked in the mental health field for 10 years, graduating with my Bachelor's Degree in Social Work from Minnesota State University Moorhead in 2013 and completing my Master's Degree in Social Work from St. Cloud State University in 2017. I gravitate toward a person-centered, cognitive behavioral approach to therapy while tailoring sessions to meet the needs of my client. I believe in meeting clients where they are at to support clients in reaching their goals, yet prioritize collaboration between clients, parents, guardians and other service providers as needed because no one should need to navigate changes or challenges alone. It is rewarding to see growth, healing, and learning from the various challenges life presents.
Trauma can be complex and emotional distress can result from the experiences we endure. I specialize in treating trauma in various forms. I am a Brainspotting practitioner and have also received formal training in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) as well as Cognitive Behavioral Intervention for Trauma in Schools (CBITS). I am trained to provide Adverse Childhood Experience (ACE) trainings as well, which have been tailored to meet the needs of a variety of audiences.
I have a passion for providing clinical supervision, group trainings, and consultation that can be customized to meet your desired outcomes. I look to not only support individual and family needs, but professional and community businesses in maximizing their potential as well.
